Apple Music is doing well with 6.5 million paid subscribers reports Apple CEO.
The chief executive officer of Apple Inc. Mr. Tim Cook talked at the WSJD Live Conference the previous day that was hosted by the Wall Street Journal. Gerard Baker who belongs to the Wall Street Journal asks the company executive about the much hyped Apple Car, the sales projections for the company’s wearable tech Apple Watch along with the plans of the company for the future.
When the executive was asked about the sales of Apple Watch, he chose to stay quiet on the matter and clearly mentioned that he will not give out any information which is not necessary as of yet. So the exact figures will reach the masses when the company reveals its earnings for the quarter on October 27.
Mr. Baker believes that the company’s wearable device a part of Apple’s product category is actually indispensable. He was on the record when he made the statement. So this actually encouraged Mr. Cook to clear his stance and support the company’s offering. he claims that the Apple Watch deserves a chance and customer satisfaction is merely out of question. Although Mr. Cook statement shows a conviction and that the company will try its best to make a mark but a similar statement was also given earlier in September at the iPhone event. so then the executive started to talk about the company’s music streaming service known as the Apple Music where he told the masses that currently the service is catering to 15 million Apple users among which 6.5 million are subscribed to paid offerings.
This is actually great news for the company since the numbers are extremely impressive since it took almost six years for Spotify to gain 10 million paid subscribers. However, it needs to be taken into consideration that AAPL is already a reputable company so gaining consumers is not a tough task but Spotify was a pioneer thus developing its niche in a market that had no idea about music streaming is again a great thing. Another thing that needs to be noted is that the company has almost 800 million credit cards on its database but only 6.5 million thought that the service was worth their money.
The music service has potential since it is an Apple product that can lure all users but it still needs to do better. The company is content with its music streaming service performance but a lot more is needed in order to become the industry giant.

IBM Encourages Use Of Mac Computers In The Corporate Sector
IBM is content after deploying Mac n its workplace.
The previous week was extremely eventful for International Business Machines Corp. since the JAMF National User Conference took place in Minneapolis. During this conference, IBM executive talked about the new change in trend where the corporate sector is now more inclined towards Apple Mac computers than Microsoft PCs. It is said that the users are now embracing a change in preferences where the use of Windows computers at workplaces is declining where Apple’s Mac is easy taking over. At this point of time, Microsoft has now joined hands with various manufacturers so that more consumers are engaged with Windows. However, IBM has a relatively different approach where it considers the premium operating system Mac, OS X as the game changer. Fletcher Previn, who is the Vice President of Workplace as a Service at IBM expressed his perspective over Apple products in front of thousands of Apple IT administrators. He mentioned earlier in June, that IBM decided to introduce a Mac in the workplace and since that time, the adoption rate for Apple’s products and services is actually exceptional. According to the company, around 130,000 Mac and iOS products are now being used within the environment. The rate at which Macs are being deployed is massive where weekly 1,900 units are installed. The ease products offer is exceptional since 24 helpdesk workers is available at all times to deal with any Information Technology related constraints. Another astonishing thing that the company mentioned was that only 5% of the Mac users call the company’s helpdesk for assistance whereas 40% users used to make the call while using Windows. So Mac users are actually good on their own and do not require much assistance thus a small team can serve the purpose. Mr. Previn is extremely content with the installation and commends the team at Apple to install the services in a relatively short span of time. Moreover, statistics also support his vision since Big Blue does not need a huge team to deal with issues. IBM at this point is offering new Mac which is very easy to setup. It was also stated that through Apple’s Device Enrollment Program and JAMF Software Casper Suite, the IBM employees can easily install software, configurations and apps that have been approved by the Information Technology team. It is evident that Big Blue is contented with the decision it has made and is also encouraging others to deploy Mac in their workspace.

Are Ad Blocking Softwares Hurting Apple, Inc ?
Last week, Apple Inc. removed Been Choice, an ad blocker that blocked in-app ads on iOS, from the App Store. The tech company has recently announced to boost up the ad blocking business that has shown massive signs of taking over the ad industry and all the companies which are generally seen to earn from all such firms. The iPhone makers have decided to allow the availability of ad blocking apps to now be sold on the App Store, which will be allowing the users to experience an ad free surfing on the internet where all ads present on the browser will also be stopped and blocked. This latest update has been made to the newly update iOS 9, which has stirred up a feeling of fear among the companies that have been completely relying on business being carried out by the displaying of ads on the internet. Even though the giant has been receiving revenue from the ads as well, this step will still be taken by the firm. The main focus of this news is how the ad blockers are mainly going to affect the ad business that Alphabet has been carrying out lately, as the ad blockers will not be blocking the ads that are coming from the source of the iPhone makers, instead it will only be blocking the ads given by the search engine giant on the iOS software which is sure to give the tech giant some massive problems. The Been Choice ad blocking app that was blocked by the iPhone 6 Plus makers has been done due to the kind of technology that the app was offering to the users. The software giant discontinued selling the app in only a matter of few days, since the time of initiation. This app was found to be as a great one to block off ads on all kinds of browsers as well as on the mobile browser present on the iOS. The technology revolved around how the app kept a close look at the information coming in from the browser to filter the relevant ads accordingly. Even though the app wanted to still be there in the Apple Store to get bought, the giant seemed to have other plans as it ended all ties with it. Some analysts are also of the view that the software giant underwent such a change only to because it did not want an ad blocking app to hinder its process of receiving revenue from displaying ads on the internet.

Apple Music Not For The Young Apple Fans
A research showed that old listeners are more likely to subscribe for Apple Music service.
There is no doubt in the fact that the smart phone industry is turning out be the most competitive one as the existing giants are leveling up their business whereas the new players are coming up with exciting inexpensive and expensive phones as well to make a mark. Recently, Apple Inc. has been making a lot of changes following their acquisitions in the similar category. The iPhone maker bought Beats and ever since it decided to launch a newer enhanced version of Apple Music. The company has been doing a lot of changes software and hardware wise just to provide its loyal customers with the best phone ever. However, with Apple Music, the young hip image of the company might be in jeopardy. The company started with the free trials of its music service will soon be coming to an end hence the users will have to be paid on a monthly or yearly basis to access it. Hence once free trials are over, it will be known whether Apple Music is worth a try or not. Quartz reported, “Apple Music has an advantage over competing services there because it’s pre-installed on iOS devices and mixes owned tracks with streamed music.” As of now, youth using Apple iPhones is not content or feel good about the new music service. Jackdaw Research which is a consumer technology research firm carried out a research which stated that mostly the old listeners will still be subscribing for Apple Music. Microsoft Corporation Finally Updates Internet Explorer
The Windows giant has finally released a fixing patch to make sure all bugs and problems are removed while users browse on the new Windows 10.
Microsoft Corporation’s infamous browser, the Internet Explorer, has again turned out to be troublesome for the users. A couple of weeks ago, the giant introduced the much talked about Windows 10, the new operating system that it had been working on for quite a long time now. However, since the release of the OS, the users have had some serious issues using the new Windows, especially in the giant’s browser. It was believed by the hype created by the software giant that all the previous flaws and faults in the company system will be taken care of in the new OS, but the analysts couldn’t have been more wrong. Even though Microsoft business has been trying to overcome the faults in the browser since a really long time now, it has failed to go the complaints against the browser have come out to be in a large number. The re-launch of the outdated browser along with the original Windows was previously taken as a good step towards competing with Firefox and Chrome, but with the increasing issues being faced, analysts are talking about how this cannot be achieved by the giant anymore. Microsoft software team, however, is reportedly carrying out another small program to fix the errors and issues that are being built up in the recent Windows. The giant came out with a patch on Tuesday, which according to the news is capable of turning down all the problems and faults previously being confronted by the users at large. On the other hand, the bug that was attacking all the Windows users and the latest OS was making the users go over to a website automatically, which was actually a major threat to the personal information of the users. This problem was especially taking place within the Internet Explorer only, which was something that does not annoy the users if they are using browsers like Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. The reports of the victims of the virus bugs have also reported that the flashy messages shown on the browser were the real threats to not only the personal information, but were also slammed with a lot of unwanted content on the internet, which turned out to be unavoidable. However, the patch that has been released by the giant will be helping the users in the most convenient of ways. All they have to do is download it or simply update their Windows with the new update being offered by the tech company.

Apple Targets Indian Customers Through Its Stores
As per Patently Apple, some of Apple iPhones will be sold in the Indian market through an innovative “store in store program” through its collaboration with partner stores. The tech behemoth has now added Infinity Retail that is owned by Croma to become their primary distributors in the Indian market. Croma is basically an enterprise owned by TATA. Apple Inc. at this point is extremely keen about bolstering the Indian economy and is among one of those American companies that are on the forefront to make their way in the region. On the other hand, Mr. Narednra Modi who is the Prime Minister of India believes that the sole way through which the United States based firms can establish their base in India is by shifting their production in this region. Foreign investors will only be welcomed in the region if they agree to associate a “Made in Indai” label to their products and service. This is the reason why Foxconn is now interested in making its way to India so that it can adhere to the government’s laws. Apart from this, when Mr. Modi recently visited the United States, he also met Mr. Tim Cook- the chief executive officer at Apple where both the parties mutually made an understanding before officially entering the market. The store in store program by Apple will be similar to their own Apple stores when it comes to layout, design, lighting and fixtures. Moreover, the staff will also get training from the iPhone maker. A total of 6 activations of this nature will be operational where 5 will be situated in Mumbai. Many analysts at this point believe if the company wishes to make its debut in India then they will have to move their production in the region. Other Us based companies like Amazon are also present in the region but they are facing a relatively tough time due to the local competitors. India is known for promoting its local brands and industries thus Apple is likely to face tough competition too in the region. If the company shifts to India then they can achieve the economies of scale allowing them to reduce the pricings of their products in the region. However, the lifestyle of the Indian masses along with their per capita income will actually make it tough for them to afford the elite commodity. Apple needs to consider all possibilities before actually making a move to the region since the economic conditions are not stable in India.
