Tesla Needs To Overcome 'Range Anxiety'

Tesla Motors needs to fix the problem of charging electric cars as soon as possible

Tesla Motors has been facing some issues regarding the software of its cars, something that the company has been working towards eradicating for quite some time. In a recent press conference that was held by the auto making company last month, it was discussed by the Elon Musk who is the CEO of the company about what steps the firm is taking towards getting rid of all the issues faced. Musk was seen announcing an update for the software in the form of the 6.2 version of the software that is going to bring about a huge change in the system that the electric car making company was already providing.

Even though Tesla has been trying to make sure that the customers are now satisfied with the new changes, the shareholders and investors of the company seem to have a different opinion about it as what became evident was that on the stock index, there seemed to occur no such change as the analysts recorded that the stock of the firm remained down by 2%.

Benzinga was seen making a report in which Tony Posawatz, who worked for Volt previously, declared that he does not believe that Tesla Motors has been much successful in overcoming the problem of range anxiety. It was also stated by Posawatz that it was him who diagnosed such a problem among the smart car making companies as they do not possess the complete range of necessities that are needed for an electric car to run without many issues on the road.

Tony Posawatz has been the right hand of General Motors as it was him who was successful in launching the ‘Volt’ idea in the already established automakers. He was also the one who helped the car company to bring its cars into the electric vehicle world. In the interview that he recently gave, he discussed how Tesla has a chance to prove itself in a better way by coming up with solution that helps the eradication of the charging of the electric cars that it has been producing so that there remains to boundary for the company to excel in the field.

He was also seen advising Tesla about how it should work on making the charging process of the company cars more easily accessed to. By making the process of charging electric cars more like charging cars powered by gas, the company can reach out to many people and not only increase its popularity but also become of the most successful electric auto manufacturers in the industry.
