Facebook Inc Server Goes Down Once Again

The social media giant faced a server breakdown on Monday which was criticized by analysts all over the world.

Facebook Inc. was recently seen facing one of the many other server breakdowns that it has had in the past few months, which has also made the analysts wonder as to what the tech giant is really doing with its security system. These breakdowns, occasionally, are considered as not a very big deal but the fact that the downgrade that was seen on Monday was the tech giant’s third in a period of one month, and was not taken quite that well by the industry pundits. Analysts have been discussing how the frequency of these events has increased over the period and it looks like the social media giant could be messing up with its system that has left the investors confused. Facebook business has been working fine on the stock index for the past four weeks but there have been problems with some technicalities, which have brought the firm under the critical gaze of the analysts. All the recent events took place in the month of September only and all the issues that were raised came to be revolving around the same problem of users failing to log into their Facebook accounts due to the server being down. When the users tried to log in, they were shown a page with a message saying ‘service unavailable’ which showed that site was down. Following these server breakdowns, analysts who were not informed of the core cause of the issue concluded that the social media platform might be going through some major changes due to which the breakdowns took place. This could be a drawback on the company’s part, which was causing the networking site to be unbelievably slow for users around the world. Even though Facebook software team did not give in any details as to why the break down took place, a spokesperson from the site was seen discussing with the press about how the media site experienced the massive issue as it was going through some configuration problem. On the other hand, representatives apologized to the users from the networking giant in which the firm was also seen to assure the users about how the problems that have been occurring so frequently will be seen to, with the aim of putting an end to all the issues in the future. The decline in service caused frustration among people and #facebookdown hashtags circulated over the social media. Consequently, Facebook faced a loss in revenues.

Facebook Plans To Penetrate Into Chinese Ad Market

Facebook Inc plans to step into the Chinese market through the ad industry of the country

Facebook Inc has been trying very hard to capture the ad industry and in the process it has managed to take away Google Inc’s limelight as well. The social media company not only has its eyes set on the US market, but it has also been working towards attracting the Chinese ad agency in order to increase revenue through ads in China. In the most recent news update, the social networking company was yet again seen to have made efforts to attract more advertisers from the Asian country.

Facebook seems adamant about making an impact on the Chinese ad industry as the company was recently seen to have signed a deal with one of the ad agencies in the country with whom the media company will carry out further plans for penetrating the market. This deal will help the networking company to attract even more companies for the purpose of business. This has been reported by the Wall Street Journal and the report further explains that the fact that the social media site from the United States is able to step into the Chinese market like that is quite exceptional as people in the country have been banned from using the networking site.

The fact that Facebook is banned in China is not being taken lightly by the social media owner Mark Zuckerberg and the company has been constantly trying to enter the country through different means. This time it is through the advertising industry. Analysts are of the opinion that the social media company is carrying out this step to make the world, in general, realize how powerful it is with a user base up to 1.39 billion, considering it has not yet been operated in China.

Social media experts have predicted that if the government of china removes the ban that it has put on Facebook in the country, then the site can attain a lot of popularity in the capital of the state. Even though there are a few social networking sites in the China that are used by the people in large numbers, it is felt by the analysts that people there are still expecting a new platform to be offered to them that would give maximum satisfaction to them.

Facebook also has its eyes set on Youzu Interactive which is a Chinese designer for online games. This game developer has spent around a million Yuan to promote their most important game of the season League Of Angels on the US company, according to a report by the Wall Street Journal.
